Scrapebox techniques for fresh content news sites - nickmford - 10-19-2011

I've been reading up quite a bit the past few weeks on Scrapebox and studying the techniques for harvesting and building autoapprove lists in the forums, but I'm wondering if any gurus could offer some additional insight.

How would you use Scrapebox to boost SERPs for fresh terms. For instance if you are doing a fitness site and you are reporting the latest news, would you do blasts daily to your new content? Or is this something that you would reserve for a bookmarking program/application?

Basically I'm trying to find out how to leverage Scrapebox in a news website setting.

If I'm not being clear enough, here's an example: A new weightloss medicine comes out tomorrow and I cover the story on my site. At this point I could harvest some urls based on the product name as the keyword(s). Then I could use scrapebox to mass comment across the acceptable sites after using the Blog Analyzer Add-on.

For news content I prefer to manually build some "better" backlinks like posting the content on digg.com and maybe find a current thread on discussion sites/forums and post the link there (not only good for ranking, also creates a little traffic if you do it right). Then I do one or two blasts, like you described, to the URL that the manually created backlink appears on. This way, the low quality links don't point directly to my site (following the linkbuilding pyramid http://www.jejani.com/wp-content/uploads/seo-link-building-pyramid.jpg)

Of course that's just one way to do it!
